councilmember for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION ~88- RESO~UTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR TENNIS COURT LIGHTING AT TITTERUD PARK (PROJECT ~88-18) WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1988 improvements to Titterud Park (Project 88-18), bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount of Bid Lehn Electric Killmer Electric $ 9,500 + $850 (AEC) = $10,350 $14,400 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Lehn Electric of Anoka, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and city Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Lehn Electric of Anoka, Minnesota in the name of the city of Ramsey for the lighting of tennis courts at Titterud Park according to the plans and specifica- tions therefore approved by the Ramsey city Council and on file in the office of the city Administrator/Clerk. 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except ,that the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. I The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: i whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey city Council this the 15th day of August, 1988. 2~
