<br />councilmember <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~88- <br /> <br />RESO~UTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR TENNIS COURT <br />LIGHTING AT TITTERUD PARK (PROJECT ~88-18) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1988 <br />improvements to Titterud Park (Project 88-18), bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />Lehn Electric <br />Killmer Electric <br /> <br />$ 9,500 + $850 (AEC) = $10,350 <br />$14,400 <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Lehn Electric of Anoka, Minnesota is <br />the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Mayor and city Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Lehn Electric of <br />Anoka, Minnesota in the name of the city of Ramsey for the lighting of <br />tennis courts at Titterud Park according to the plans and specifica- <br />tions therefore approved by the Ramsey city Council and on file in the <br />office of the city Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br />2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except ,that the deposits of the successful bidder and next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />I <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />i <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey city Council this the 15th day of August, 1988. <br /> <br />2~ <br />
