councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #88-____ RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR W.B. MILLER, INC. (PROJECT #87-19 & 87-26 DYSPROSIUM STREET N.W.) WHEREAS, the City council of the city of Ramsey approved this project on May 3, 1988; and WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Ramsey adopted Resolu- tion #88-___ awarding the bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the improve- ments to Rivers Bend Park; and WHEREAS, city Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., recommended partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $39,988.83. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the 'City council hereby authorizes partial payment to W. . I. . B. M~ller, Inc. for the ~mprovements to Dyspros~um Street in the , amount of $39,988.83. 2) That thelcity council hereby a~thorizes the Mayor or city Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) The amou~t of this partial payment is not included in ResolU- tion #88___ approving payment of bills for the month of August, 1988. 4) That thelcity of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of th s resolution. , The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the fOllOWingl voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the fOllowinJ were absent: whereupon said r~solution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City council this the 23rd day of August, 1988. z;
