<br />councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-____ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR W. B. MILLER, INC. (PROJECT #88-14 <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO RIVERS BEND PARK) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Ramsey approved this <br />project in March, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Ramsey adopted Resolu- <br />tion #88-105 awarding the bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the <br />improvements to Rivers Bend Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, city Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson <br />Associates, Inc., recommended partial payment to W. B. Miller in the <br />amount of $19,330.60. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANORA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />I <br />1) That the City council hereby authorizes partial payment to <br />W. B. Miller, Inc. Ifor the improvements to Rivers Bend Park in the <br />amount of $19,330.60. <br />I <br />2) That the city council hereby authorizes the Mayor or city <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. <br />I <br />the total amount of this partial payment is not included <br />#88 I approving payment of bills for the month of <br /> <br />I . <br /> <br />4) That the c~ty of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a <br />signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for th~ adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councflmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following Ivoted against the same: <br /> <br />3) That <br />in Resolution <br />August, 1988. <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the follOwinglwere absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey city council this the 23rd day of August, 1988. <br /> <br />~ <br />
