Her holistic approach in the Partnership for
Family Success program has led to significant improvements in the stability and well-being of the
families she works with— Eason addresses the immediate needs of participants and fosters long-
term success for entire households.
Senior Career Counselor Emmanuel Fonchin was awarded the Rising Star Award. Fonchin's sensitivity to cultural
differences and his efforts to incorporate culturally relevant practices into service delivery
contribute to a more equitable and supportive environment for all participants.
"We are extremely thankful for Patty and Emmanuel, and they work they do," said District
7 Commissioner Mandy Meisner, who serves as chair of the Human Services Committee. "There
is a large, diverse population in District 7, which serves Fridley, Hilltop, and Columbia Heights,
and a growing diverse population in Coon Rapids. Anoka County is third behind Hennepin and
Ramsey counties for primary refugee arrivals.
