Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: 1 RESOLUTION #85- RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (Whispering Pines #3 #85 -5) WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined for the sealcoating improvement of the following streets; 1) 157th Lane N.W. between Ferret Street N.W. and Kangaroo Street N.W. 2) 158th Avenue N.W. between Hedgehog Street N.W. and Kangaroo Street N.W. 3) 158th Lane N.W. between Armstrong Blvd. N.W. (County Road #83) west to its end at the cul -de- sac. 1 4) Eland Street N.W. between 158th Lane N.W. south to its end. 5) Ferret Street N.W. between 157th Lane N.W. and 158th Lane N.W. 6) Hedgehog Street N.W. between the north plat boundary and the south plat boundary of Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3. 7) Kangaroo Street N.W. between 157th Lane N.W. and 158th Lane N.W. and the contract price for such improvement is $ and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $ so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, SPATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be ' paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $ 2) That the City Administrator /Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspectin. r 1
