Councilmember introduced the following resolution <br />and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #85- <br />' RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR H & S ASPHALT COMPANY <br />(Project #84 -16 AND #85 -3$) <br />' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />the following resolution approving the following project in the <br />Ci ty of Ramsey: <br />Resolution #84 -242 adopted December 11, 1984 for <br />Ramsey Terrace blacktopping improvement ( #84 -16) <br />Resolution #85 -94 adopted May 28, 1985, for grade <br />change on Azurite Street and County Road #5 ( #85- <br />M 14) <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />' Resolution #85 -129 awarding the bid to H & S Asphalt for the <br />blacktopping improvement of the streets in Ramsey Terrace and the <br />grade change on Azurite Street and County Road #5; and <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Bakanson <br />Anderson, Inc. recommended final payment in his letter dated <br />August 21, 1985, Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of <br />$20,099.15. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANON OJUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby <br />authorizes partial payment to H & S Asphalt for the blacktopping <br />improvement of the streets in Ramsey Terrace and the grade change <br />on Azurite Street and County Road #5 in the amount of $20,099.15. <br />2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby <br />authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release <br />form for this partial payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this partial payment is <br />not included in Resolution #85 -_ adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council on August 27, 1985 approving payment of the bills for <br />the month of August. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be <br />provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: <br />r <br />
