Susan Arellano commented that the statements of the neighbor about people coming to the <br />property are related to her coming to the property with children that she fosters. She commented <br />that it has been disturbing for the neighbor to count the number of children that she has brought to <br />her relative's property. She stated that she brings the children there to help take care of the horses <br />and for picnics. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Hunt, to close the public hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Absent: None. <br />6.02: Public Hearing: Amendment to Section 106-105, Definition of Manufacturing <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Gengler called the public hearing to order at 7:31 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Planning Manager Larson presented the staff report stating staff recommends approval of <br />Ordinance #24-13 amending Section 106-105 Zoning Code Definitions. <br />Commissioner VanScoy asked if this is mandated by the State or whether the City has a choice. <br />Planning Manager Larson confirmed that this is mandated by the State, but cities can limit the <br />number of businesses based on population, similar to liquor licenses.
