This actual concentration is fairly close to the
0.03 mg-P/l predicted in the lake model (p. 77, OEIS). This
is a preliminary indication that the estimated phosphorus
loading for existing conditions ~ay approxi~ate the actual
phosphorus loading. In order to protect lake water quality
in the future, stormwater runoff i~pacts should be
minimized. A nu~ber of ~easures are planned to be
i~plemented including the use of wetlands for stormwater
storage, infiltration areas for stor~water infiltration, and
grass-lined swales to reduce suspended solids in overland
flow.

(Literature cited: USEPA 1980.
