At least 50% of the lake
shoreline has no platted lots. If vegetation is removed
along the shore of Lake Itasca, it should be done
selectively to avoid drainage areas. Care should also be
given to construction of proper beach slopes.

* Any construction in flood plain districts will have to
comply with Ramsey regulations.

* planned open areas to the east and south of Lake Itasca
should retain as much natural cover as possible to reduce
the impact to wildlife in the area. Restrictive covenants
will be applied to require an undisturbed fringe of
vegetation to remain around existing wetlands to protect
wildlife habitat.

, \
,

* A plan for plantings along the southern part of the site
will be developed to improve wildlife habitat in the area.
This will also help to shield residences from the railroad
tracks and T.R. 10/169.

I"'
I

, i
~
t

,
.
