2.4. <br />CC Work Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />11/26/2024 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Strive for high organizational morale and employee retention. <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Finalize Discussions Regarding Proposed Updates to the Personnel Policy <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this discussion is to finish the review of the Personnel Policy, make any final recommendations <br />and have it ready for the December 10, 2024, regular Council Meeting for approval, effective January 1, 2025. <br />The Personnel Policy was discussed during work sessions with the City Council on November 28, December <br />12, February 26, March 12, April 24 and June llth. Every section of the policy has been reviewed. The policy <br />was temporarily put on hold due to contract negotiations taking priority. For consistency among employee <br />groups and ease of administration, certain sections of the policy have been updated to mirror contract language. <br />Attached: Marked -up and clean copies of the policy are attached.
