Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#24-343 <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR 2025 CRACK SEAL <br /> IMPROVEMENTS; IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-09 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the bituminous <br /> pavement on public streets by sealing cracks on an annual basis; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted a budget for 2025 includes $600,000.00 for street <br /> maintenance contracted services, including to crack seal the bituminous pavement on numerous public <br /> street segments in support of the City's Pavement Management Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Staff has the capacity to prepare plans and specifications for 2025 Crack Seal <br /> Improvements, Improvement Project#25-09. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby orders the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br /> 2025 Crack Seal Improvements, Improvement Project#25-09. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 26th day of November,2024. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> [Type here] <br />
