<br />Further discussion: Mayor Gamec suggested staff research the rental rate at the CNBC building . <br />. for a comparison in determining a rate for the Anchor's A way building. Councilmember Cook <br />noted there are at least three oil changing facilities located on Highway 10 that could be used as <br />comparisons for the Anchor' s Away building. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Jeffrey, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Elvig stressed that Marty Fisher should be informed of the <br />Council's concern that these buildings be leased out at a market rate. He stated the City needs to <br />be accountable for not subsidizing with these leases. City Attorney Goodrich indicated the rent <br />for the cold storage portion of the NAU building is up for renegotiation in July. The City may <br />wartt to inform the tenant he will be required to pay taxes with the new lease. Councilmember <br />Cook indicated it is important to note that the revenue from these leases goes back into the <br />RALF fund for future purchases. <br /> <br />The special meeting of the City Council was adjourned to a clo'sed session at 5:45 p.m. <br /> <br />The closed session of the City Council was adjourned back to the special City Council meeting at <br />5 :54 p.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />The special meeting ofthe City Council adjourned at 5 :54 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />James E.
