<br />. <br /> <br />CASE # <br /> <br />AWARD BIDS FOR SALT STORAGE BUILDING <br />PROJECT 04-BLDG-0005 <br />By: Grant Riemer, Public Works Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On December 13, 2005 City Council passed Resolution 05-12-418 authorizing the <br />solicitation of bids for construction of a salt storage building at the Public Works campus. <br />Cost not to exceed $165,000.00. Bids were opened on July 20,2006. The following is a <br />summary of the bids received. <br /> <br />Salt Storage Building <br /> <br />Bidder <br />Greystone Construction <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br />$13 3,000.00 <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt Resolution 06-07-XXX awarding salt storage <br />building construction to low bidder, Greystone Construction in the amount of <br />$133,000.00. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution 06-07 -XXX awarding Greystone Construction the. contract to construct <br />a salt storage building.
