<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tern Elvig called the special meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 5:35 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Consider Assistance for James Deal for Acquisition of Property within <br />Ramsey Town Center <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman reviewed that staff was contacted by James Deal, who currently <br />owns two blocks of office property north of Sunwood Drive and the Enterprise Park of Ramsey <br />Town Center. Mr. Deal sold his former NAU Building on T.H. #10 in a land exchange last year <br />and the City purchased that property through the RALF Program. The City has currently been <br />making efforts to acquire the second property, Anchor's Away; however, it has taken <br /> <br />Special City Council / May 2, 2006 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
