<br />Further discussion: Mayor Gamec suggested staff research the rental rate at the CNBC building <br />for a comparison in determining a rate for the Anchor's A way building. Councilmember Cook <br />noted there are at least three oil changing facilities located on Highway 10 that could be used as <br />comparisons for the Anchor' s Away building. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Jeffrey, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Elvig stressed that Marty Fisher should be informed of the <br />Council's concern that these buildings be leased out at a market rate. He stated the City needs to <br />be accountable for not subsidizing with these leases. City Attorney Goodrich indicated the rent <br />for the cold storage portion of the NAU building is up for renegotiation in July. The City may <br />want to inform the tenant he will be required to pay taxes with the new lease.
