<br />" <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 06-04-137 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF BROOKFIELD SECOND <br />ADDITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development, Inc., hereafter referred to as "Developer", properly <br />applied for final plat approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Outlot B, BROOKFIELD FIRST ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the 'Subject Property'); <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on November 30, 2004, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch <br />plan for Brookfield Addition from Oakwood Land Development.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan on January 6, 2005 and <br />March 3,2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing on March 22, 2005 regarding the <br />Developer's request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the designated land use of the <br />Subject Property from rural developing to low density residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the sketch plan on March 22, 2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 30, 2005, the City received written notification from Metropolitan <br />Council that the request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment had been approved. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 8, 2005, the Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing <br />regarding the proposed preliminary plat; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the preliminary plat on <br />August 11,2005, and recommended that park dedication be satisfied with a cash payment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 13, 2005, the City Council approved the preliminary plat with <br />contingencies that included revision of the City's Comprehensive Plan to indicate an alignment for <br />16ih Avenue that is south of the Plat boundary; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's update of the Comprehensive Plan, that was in process during the time <br />frame of the Brookfield preliminary plat review, was to include the realignment of 16ih Avenue N.W.; <br />however, the City has delayed that Plan update and herein confirms the intent to include the <br />realignment of 167th Avenue N.W. in the next Comprehensive Plan update; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 4, 2006, the Developer submitted the final plat documents for <br />Brookfield Second Addition. <br />
