CANVASSING BOARD <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a Canvassing Board meeting on Thursday, November 14, <br /> 2024, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Mayor Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br /> Members Absent: Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br /> Councilmember Michael Olson <br /> Councilmember Dan Specht <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Brian Hagen <br /> City Clerk Katie Schmidt <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kuzma called the Canvassing Board meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> COMMISSIONER BUSINESS <br /> Declare the Results of the November 5, 2024 General Election <br /> City Clerk Schmidt reviewed the staff report and provided a summary of the General Election <br /> and its results. <br /> Councilmember Musgrove asked about the County Canvasing board and if they are doing eight <br /> reviews or four and if Ramsey was just not chosen. <br /> City Clerk Schmidt replied that based on the counties overall population they are required to <br /> select four precincts, the board chose to select eight precincts for the Post-Election Review. <br /> Ramsey was not selected during the random drawing. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Woestehoff, seconded by Councilmember Riley,to accept and declare <br /> the results of the November 5, 2024 General Election. <br /> Further discussion: <br /> Councilmember Musgrove asked if the chain of custody was maintained with the ballots during <br /> the entire process. <br /> Canvassing Board/November 14, 2024 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
