In addition, all Anoka County businesses may <br />attend the educational seminars and programs sponsored by CROC to <br />foster business growth. <br /> <br />2. Long-term, low rate, high leveraged financing-- <br />ingredients to facilitate business expansion. A primary factor <br />in attracting business is the availability of low-interest <br />investment capital. Utilizing the SBA 503 Loan program, CROC <br />fills the gap between private and public financial resources. <br /> <br />3. Further promoting the unity of communities in Anoka <br />County regarding economic development issues. The recent <br />establishment of the Anoka County Area Chamber of Commerce and <br />the Anoka County Development Partnership are examples of efforts <br />to establish a union of area communities to encourage business <br />development. It has been well publicized that a disproportionate <br /> <br />Q <br /> <br />share of commercial and industrial development has occurred to the <br />south and west of the Twin Cities. A new spirit of cooperation <br />between Anoka County communities is emerging to encourage more <br />business development to the north and reverse this trend. The <br />operation and implementation of CROC services complements this <br />effort by our local communities. <br /> <br />4. Education for Anoka County area businesses. <br />Expansion would allow all businesses in Anoka County to attend <br />CRDC-re1ated workshops such as writing a business plan, financing <br /> <br />-4- <br />
