<br />LOMBARD HIRES
<br />
<br />Cbarles Sameluk, president of Lombard Properties, Inc. has an-
<br />nounced the appointment of Kevin J. LaCasse to the position of
<br />Leasing Representative. LaCasse joins Lombard Properties, Inc.
<br />from a position as regional sales manager for the central U.S.
<br />with InterNatural Designs, Inc. of Minneapolis. LaCasse is a 1980
<br />graduate of St. Cloud State University, with a BA in marketing.
<br />A native of St. Paul, he currently makes his home in Minneapolis.

<br />TORO EXPANDS
<br />
<br />Fabcon, Incorporated has been awarded a contract from Ryan
<br />Construction Co. to supply 12" insulated precast concrete panels
<br />for a 90,000 sq. ft. addition for The Toro Company. The expan-
<br />sion will more than triple the size of Toro's present facility,
<br />located at 600 South Valley Industrial Boulevard, Shakopee, MN.
<br />The precast concrete panels will be erected in 17 days' time begin-
<br />ning in mid-December.

<br />BENSON TO SERVE AS S.I.R. PRESIDENT
<br />
<br />It was recently announced that member James Benson, partner in
<br />the firm of Benson, Malkerson & Bradbury, Inc., win be serving
<br />as President of the Mid-Continent Chapter of the Society of In-
<br />dustrial Realtors (S.I.R.) in 1986.

<br />AMCON COMPLETES HEADQUARTER BUILDING
<br />
<br />Amcon Corporation, a design/build construction firm recently
<br />completed the new Corporate headquarters for Skyline Displays
<br />Inc. of Burnsville. The 30,000 sq. ft. two-story building win house
<br />their corporate offices, show room and production facilities.
<br />Features include all-brick construction, an outer courtyard and an
<br />enclosed glass arched atrium.
<br />
<br />GARRON'S NEW OFFICE
<br />
<br />Garron Corporation has opened a branch office in downtown St.
<br />Paul, according to Dan Markee, Vice President and General
<br />Manager of St. Paul Operations. The move to downtown St. Paul
<br />is a significant step in the corporation's plans to expand the
<br />market it serves. "The dynamic growth taking place in St. Paul
<br />represents a good opportunity for Garron Corporation to achieve
<br />the same success here that we now enjoy in Minneapolis and its
<br />suburbs," he said. The rum's new offices are in the Degree of
<br />Honor Building, Suite 270, Skyway Concourse, 325 Cedar St.

<br />STEINBERG FINANCES
<br />
<br />The Steinberg Financial Corporation has completed financing ar-
<br />rangements for the purchase of the Second Street Business
<br />Center, a 154,000 square foot funy sprinklered office/warehouse
<br />building at 2800 Second Street, just north of downtown Min-
<br />neapolis. The topography of the site allows upper level office
<br />areas to be at grade level with the warehouse space being 22 feet
<br />clear. The financing included a new long-term first mortgage and
<br />a participating equity loan to cover all equity and acquisition
<br />costs, fees, and operating reserves. Management services will be
<br />provided by Benson, Malkerson, and Bradbury.

<br />Hon ANNOUNCES TRANSACTIONS
<br />
<br />Hoyt Development is pleased. to announce several major lease
<br />transactions. Catalog Card Corporation has agreed to occupy
<br />41,000 square feet of office and production space at Bumsville
<br />Bluffs Business Center I. Expected date for initial occupancy is
<br />February 1. Phase I ot this three-phase project is now 80070 leased.
<br />
<br />Lucht Engineering Inc., a division of Innovex Corp., has signed a
<br />61,000 square foot lease with Hoyt for a new office/warehouse
<br />building to be built in West Bloomington. The long term lease was
<br />negotiated by Bessesen Properties Inc. Occupancy is slated for
<br />Summer, 1986.
<br />
<br />Enhanced Data Systems has agreed to lease the entire Federal
<br />Business Center, a 28,444 square foot office/service building be-
<br />ing built by Hoyt in Bloomington. Helen Brooks of Towle Real
<br />Estate sold the former Federal Lumber site to Hoyt.
<br />
<br />Longman Financial Services, a company formerly associated with
<br />Golle and Holmes, has signed a lease for 24,000 square feet of of-
<br />fice space at Bloomington Business Plaza. The tenant was
<br />represented by Jim DePietro and Garfield aark of Pemble-
<br />Clark. They worked with lim Eisler of Hoyt Development.
<br />
<br />Plantscape Inc. and American Photocopy have signed leases to
<br />occupy the entire 30,000 square foot office/showroom building
<br />being developed by Hoyt at 6300 Bury Drive in Eden Prairie. Oc-
<br />cupancy is set for February I.

<br />UNITED PROPERTIES NEWS
<br />
<br />Kennetb N. Stensby of United Properties announced that CHnton
<br />A. MDler has been promoted to Senior Vice President of the firm.
<br />He will also continue to function as its Director of Marketing. In
<br />this capacity, he is responsible for office leasing, brokerage,
<br />market research, public relations, and promotion. A native of St.
<br />Paul and a 1973 graduate in Business Administration from the
<br />University of Minnesota, he joined United Properties in 1980
<br />following six years in major account sales with Xerox Corpora-
<br />tion.
<br />
<br />Additionally, John C. Mueller has joined United Properties as a
<br />Leasing Representative. John is a 1971 graduate of the University
<br />of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology and
<br />political science. His prior experience bridges fifteen years of
<br />business selling experience with Xerox Corporation and CPT.
