GEX)ffiE ~ AND RIV.ER IS BtND PROl?t.:kl.'rt:S <br />By: Anne Norris, Conmmity Developnent Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. George Carlson and River's Bend Prop:rties are requesting site plan review <br />and preliminary approval of their proposed planned unit develo~ent. The <br />developnent consists of a 32-unit apartment building located on Lot 2, Block 1, <br />Oxbow Addition. The prop:rty is within the Scenic River Olerlay District. The <br />Scenic River regulations require that this proposal be reviewed as a planned <br />unit developnent. <br /> <br />As you may recall, the develop:rs are requesting City participation in land <br />aa;Juisition and site improvements for the project. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the following items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Proposed site plan <br /> <br />Cl:>servations: <br /> <br />Mr. John stine, DNR, has reviewed the proposed site plan and has recommended <br />minor changes regarding relocating the structure further fran the ordinary high <br />water mark of the Rum River. In addition, Mr. stine recommended revisions to <br />the proposed storm drainage for the project. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on this request <br />on April 5, 1988. The Conunission will be considering this request on April 12, <br />1988.
