DAVID HAUAN <br />By: Arme Norris, Camnunity Developnent Director <br /> <br />BackgrolU1d: <br /> <br />Mr. David Hauan is requesting a conditional use pemit to construct and operate <br />a recreational center at 14622 Ferret Street N.W. This property is located in <br />the I-I Industrial District. A recreational center is not a permitted use in <br />this district. The recreational center is proposed to include a roller rink, <br />bumper boats, go-cart track, and miniature golf. <br /> <br />In addition, Mr. Hauan is requesting a conditional use permit to construct a <br />160 square foot advertising sign to advertise the recreational center from <br />Highway #10. The sign is to be located along the railroad tracks on Mr. <br />Hauan I s property. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the fOllCMing items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Appl ication <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Proposed findings of fact <br />d) Proposed conditional use pemit <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on Mr. Hauan I s request <br />on AprilS, 1988. The Commission commented that the proposed use was <br />appropriate in the I-I Industrial District.
