~ -..... ~ c!tJ tJuv ~I Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION APPOINTING FINANCE OFFICER AND ACCOUNTANT RESOLUTION #88- WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the filling of a vacancy in the Finance Department Secretary position with an Accountant; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council has accepted the resignation of Finance Officer Noel Graczyk thereby creating a vacancy in the position of Finance Officer; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council has authorized the Ci,ty Administrator to advertise for appl icant s to f ill the Finance Department positions; and WHEREAS, applications of applicants who might be qualified for the Accountant position and the Finance Officer position have been reviewed and interviews have been conducted by the City Administrator; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of Dave Hartley, City Administrator, that Sandra G. Ashley be appointed to the position of Finance Officer and that Jennifer K. Swendsen, currently Accounting Clerk, be promoted to the position of Accountant. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That Sandra G. Ashley is hereby appointed to the position of Finance Officer: Salary start After 6 months Starting date Status $28,500 per year $32,500 per year June 29, 1988 FLSA exempt 6 month probation 2) That Jennifer K. Swendsen is hereby promoted to the position of Accountant: Salary start After 6 months After 12 months Effective date Status $17,620 per year $19,820 per year $22,020 per year June 29, 1988 6 month probation The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
