<br />5 Minutes CASE #19: <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL EmORSEMENTS TO <br />CITY LIABILITY INSURAOCE <br />By: Dave Hartley, City Administrator <br /> <br />Backgrotmd: <br /> <br />There are two areas of public liability which until recently have not been <br />insurable: inverse condemnation and pollution liability coverages. The Cotmcil <br />is undoubtedly aware of the increasing exposure that cities are subjected to <br />due to recent Supreme Court decisions. Now the League of Minnesota Cities <br />Insurance Trust can offer added liability coverage for certain pollution <br />exposures and actions of inverse condemnation. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a letter fran Mr. Cornay Olson of T. C. Field and Company advising <br />the City of Ramsey on the inclusion of the two coverages listed above. <br /> <br />:Recommendation: . <br /> <br />Based on reviav of these exposures and the advice of T. C.
