councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION ~88- RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY ESTIMATE FOR FOREST LAKE CONTRACTING, INC. (PROJECT #87-20 167TH AVENUE N.W. BETWEEN COUNTY ROAD 5 AND JASPAR STREET N.W.) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on June 23, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #87-218 awarding the bid to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. for the improvement of 167th Avenue N.W. between County Road #5 and Jaspar Street N.W. WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc. recommended final payment to Forest Lake contracting in the amount of $5,952.03. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Forest Lake Contracting for the improvement of 167th Avenue N.W. between County Road #5 and Jaspar Street N.W. in the amount of $5,952.03. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in Resolution #88-____ approving payment of the bills for the month of June, 1988. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of June, 1988.
