CASE #2: REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF RAMBOSEK RED OAK ESTATES; CASE OF MR. JON RAMBOSEK By: Community Development Director Anne Norris Background: Mx. Jon Rambosek is requesting preliminary plat approval of his proposed resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2 and the northern portion of Lot 4, Voltin's Oak Hill Estates. The proposed plat consists of 6 single family residential lots, each at least 2.5 acres in size. Mr. Rambosek is proposing to construct the extension of Wolfram Street N.W. to the County ditch to provide access to the lots in Block 1 and 2 of his proposed plat. Wolfram Street will be extended south of the County ditch by Mr. David Schulte in his proposed plat of Oakwood Hills. Access to the lots in Block 3 will be provided by the existing cul -de -sac on Uranium Street N.W. For your information, the following items are enclosed: a) Site location map b) Proposed preliminary plat c) Soil boring report d) Letter from Anoka County Engineer dated February 23, 1988 e) Letter from City Engineer dated March 1, 1988 f) Letter from John Stine, DNR, dated March 21, 1988 g) Previous meeting minutes relating to Rambosek Red Oak Estates Observations: At its meeting on March 17, the Planning Commission tabled action on this plat until reports from the DNR and Corps of Engineers have been received, park dedication matters have been resolved, soil borings are provided and items from the City Engineer's report dated March 1 have been addressed. A revised report from the City Engineer and information regarding park dedication will be available at the meeting. Recommendation: Commission Action: Motion to: Recommend approval /denial of Mr. Jon Rambosek's request for preliminary plat approval of Rambosek Red Oak Estates.
