CASE #6: <br />REQUEST FOR CJONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT AMID OPERATE <br />A RECREATIONAL CENTER AMID TO CONSTRUCT AN ADVERTISING SIGN; <br />CASE OF MR. DAVID HAUAN <br />By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />Background: <br />Mr. David Hauan is requesting a conditional use permit to construct and <br />operate a recreational center at 14622 Ferret Street N.W. This property is <br />located in the I -1 Industrial district; a recreational center is not a <br />permitted use in this district. The recreational center is proposed to <br />include a roller rink, bumper boats, go -cart track and miniature golf. <br />In addition, Mr. Hauan is requesting a conditional use permit to construct <br />a 160 square foot advertising sign to advertise the recreational center <br />from Highway 10.
