In the past, P&Z's advice as been sought out and I don't <br />think the problem is that P&Z is incompetent. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dunn stated that in regards to the hazardous waste, Site P and <br />the Comprehensive Plan, decisions have been made and there is no use going <br />back and studying the issues to death, but in ~.he future, issues of that <br />potential magnitude, P&Z should have some input. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman noted that the deeds to Federal Cartridge Land will <br />be turned over to the City on April 9, 1983 and inquired as to what time <br />the ceremony will take place. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg replied that no time had been set as of yet. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson inquired if members of Park Commission had been invited <br />to_the ceremony. ' <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that regarding sewer and water, maybe special <br />levy districts could be created along with sewer and water districts to <br />,cover any added cost burden. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dunn replied that it has' been stated that no one will have to <br />pay for sewer and water unl ess' they directly benefi t. He further stated <br />that this fact is not included in the- proposed-ordinance. He further <br />stated that any comments in this area should be brought up at the April 19, <br />1983 informational meeting or the April 26, 1983 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Susan Beale - Inquired if the sewer and water ordinance was ever, passed by <br />P&Z before it was submitted to Council on February 8, 1983. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dunn replied that it was not, but two members of P&Z served <br />on the Ad Hoc Committee. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Isakson and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to adjourn <br />the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Dunn, <br />Zimmerman, Deemer, Isakson and LaDue. Voting No: None.
