<br />Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-03-090 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW <br />RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council established by resolution levels of authority on May 24th, <br />2005, for the approval of project change orders to allow for construction to proceed while <br />managing minor project changes: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the established levels of Authority for the Construction of the new Ramsey <br />Municipal Center are as follows: City Council approval required for change orders greater than <br />$25,000, City Council ratification of all change orders less than $25,000, Facility Committee <br />approval required for change orders greater than $10,000 but less than $25,000, ratification by <br />City Council, Project Team of James E. Norman, City Administrator and Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. <br />City Administrator approval required for change orders not greater than $10,000, ratification by <br />City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following change orders have been reviewed by BKV Group and 3D/I <br />Construction Managers and have been approved by either the Facility Committee or the Project <br />Team. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey ratifies the following change orders for the <br />construction of the new Ramsey Municipal Center: <br /> <br />Change Order 1061-07 $3,766.00 <br />Provide wood boxes at roof stub columns/wood blocking at roof expo joint <br />Change Order 1071-02 $7,606.95 <br />Provide roof expo Joint/exterior metal finish revisions <br />Change Order 1071-03 $2,137.92 <br />Provide roofing at chiller area/curbs <br />Change Order 1062-01 $9,180.00 <br />Owner directed changes to millwork/casework <br />Change Order 1091-02 $22,000.00 <br />Addition of clerestory ceiling in Area C (Police) <br />Change Order 1151-03 $22,892.00 <br />Mechanical changes-diffuser & piper changes, add fan powered by V AN for <br />Mech penthouse, MDH plumbing change-cell area, owner directed change to <br />Millwork affecting water lines <br />Change Order 1151-05 $2,559.80 <br />Plumbing fixture change/opening change adjacent to stair B <br /> <br />Total executed change orders 02/15/06-03/15/06: $68,004.77 <br />
