<br />(< <br /> <br />1; <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-06-195 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF GAD'S PRAIRIE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Aaron Stritesky Construction, hereafter referred to as "Developer", properly <br />applied for preliminary plat approval of the following described property located in the City of <br />Ramsey: <br /> <br />That part of the southwest quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 32, Range <br />25, Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the West Quarter Comer of said Section 25; thence on an assumed <br />bearing of North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East, along the south line of the Southwest <br />Quarter of the Northwest of said Section 25, a distance of 829.6 feet to the point of beginning: <br />thence North 40 degrees 49 minutes 30 seconds West a distance of 401.96 feet; thence North 87 <br />degrees 34 minutes 50 seconds East a distance of centerline, a distance of 430.2 feet more or less <br />to said south line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter. Thence westerly, along said <br />south line, a distance of 310.0 feet more or less to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />(Subject Property); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 2nd, 2006, the City of Ramsey received an application for <br />sketch plan of GAD's Prairie; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 3rd, 2006, the Planning Commission reviewed the application and <br />provided feedback to the developer regarding the need for a public road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 11 t\ 2006, the City of Ramsey received an application for <br />preliminary plat for GAD's Prairie; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 1 st, 2006, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and <br />recommended denial of the preliminary plat based on the proposed road configuration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the preliminary plat <br />and recommended that park dedication fees be paid to satisfy park dedication requirements; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants preliminary plat approval to GAD's Prairie, <br />contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated June 23, 2006 <br />2) The Developer is directed to proceed to the Final Plat Stage. <br />
