<br />,/' <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-06-196 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0768 TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM R-2 MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning Amendments) and 9.20.31 (planned Unit Development) of the <br />Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Aaron Stritesky Construction, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has <br />properly applied to rezone certain property from R-2: Medium Density Residential to Planned <br />Unit Development. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section <br />9.03.03 of the City Code on June 1,2006 and said public hearing was properly advertised, and <br />the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County Minnesota, described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the West Quarter Comer of said Section 25; thence on an assumed <br />bearing of North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East, along the south line of the <br />Southwest Quarter of the Northwest of said Section 25, a distance of 829.6 feet to the <br />point of beginning; thence North 30 degrees 49 minutes 30 seconds West a distance of <br />401.96 feet; thence North 87 degrees 34 minutes 50 seconds East a distance of278.5 feet <br />more or less to the centerline of County State Aid Highway No.5; thence southeasterly, <br />along said centerline, a distance of 430.2 feet more or less to said south line of the <br />Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence westerly, along said south line, a <br />distance of 31 0.0 feet more or less to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />2. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is 1.77 acres. <br /> <br />3. That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />boundary. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is currently zoned R-2 Medium Density Residential. <br />
