<br />CASE #: 9 <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />July 28, 2006 <br /> <br /> <br />Memo <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Ramsey Planning Commission <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Community Development Staff <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Staff Update <br /> <br />July City Council meeting review. The following is a brief summary of actions taken by the <br />City Council that may be of interest to the Planning Commission: <br /> <br />Requestfor final plat approval of Sweet Bay Ridge. The City Council granted final plat approval <br />to Sweet Bay Ridge. Site work cannot begin prior to receipt of a Certificate of Comple#on from <br />the MPCA. <br /> <br />Code changes for Detached Townhome. standards (R-2 District), Tree Preservation, and <br />establishment of the B-3 Business District. The City Council introduced all three ordinances <br />regarding these changes to Chapter 9. Staff expects to bring all three back to Council for <br />consideration of adoption in early August. <br /> <br />Central Rural Reserve Study. An open house will be held on the draft Central Rural Reserve <br />Study on Thursday, August 1 ih from 5:30-8:30 at the Fire Station on Armstrong Blvd. The <br />public is invited to attend to learn more about the study and provide input to the City Council <br />about current issues and future needs of the area. <br /> <br />PC: 08.3.06 <br /> <br />81 <br />
