<br />CASE :fF3: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN IN-GROUND SWIMMING POOL <br />WHICH WILL BE LOCATED NEARER THE FRONT LOT LINE THAN THE <br />PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE; CASE OF MR. AND MRS. LYNN BOEHLAND <br />By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Boehland are requesting a variance to construct a <br />swimming pool in front of the principal structure at 17211 Germanium Street <br />N.W. The Boehlands are proposing to construct an 18' x 36' in-ground <br />swimming pool which would be located approximately 30 feet in front of <br />their house, towards Germanium Street. Section 170.015 of the City Code <br />states that no accessory structure shall be located nearer the front lot <br />line than the principal structure on that property. <br /> <br />As the property is located within the Scenic River Overlay District, the <br />Boehland's request has been referred to John Stine, DNR.
