Voting Yea: Mayor Beitman. Councilmembers Sorteberg. Cox. <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting 10: None. <br /> <br />Marion Grams - Inquired as to what the City intends to do about Trott Brook <br />Cemetery; will it be mowed in time for Memorial Day? <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and .econded by Councilmember Reimann authorizing <br />that Trott Brook Cemetery be mowed prior to Memorial. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox stated it would be appropriate for <br />Council to take a stand on the cemetery issue for the benefit of the Cemetery <br />Committee. Councilmember Reimann stated that the Cemetery Committee should <br />make a recommendation to City Council regarding maintenance of existing <br />cemeteries and Council will determine if the City budget can absorb those <br />costs. Mayor Heitman stated that Councilmember Cox should also resurrect prior <br />recommendations he says were ignored and the Committee will have a conclusion <br />at that point in time. Al Koenig inquired if there are City funds available <br />for cemetery maintenance. Mayor Heitman replied that there are no funds <br />designated in the budget for cemetery maintenance. Councilmember Cox stated <br />that the City does have additional funds available and it is the City's <br />responsibility to maintain these cemeteries. <br /> <br />Hotion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting 10: None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Hotion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adjourn <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Furtber Discussion: Hayor Heitman stated that the hour is late but Hr. Robert <br />Cox (Case '19) and Hr. Dubats (Case '17) have been waiting to have their Cases <br />addressed. Councilmember Reimann stated tbat Case '17 and Case #19 Can be <br />placed on the April 29 agenda. <br /> <br />Hotion carried.
