<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF lAMSEY <br />ANOlA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public bearing on <br />Tuesday, April I, 1986 at tbe Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowtben Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding tbe Ramsey Lions' request for a conditional <br />use permit to bold sand drag races and mud runs. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mr. Kennetb Peterson, Cbairman <br />Mr. Roy Sbumway <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Cbarles LaDue <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Planner Anne Norris <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Cbairman Peterson called tbe public bearing to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Brad Dahl and Jim Beck were present representing the Ramsey Lions. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer noted that there are Council minutes indicating that the <br />person initiating the petition opposing the Lions' sand races did state that <br />the 1985 sand races were conducted in a manner that was not so offensive to <br />neighboring residences and had no objection to the races being held again in <br />1986 if they would be conducted likewise. · <br /> <br />There was no citizen further citizen input. <br /> <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Shumway, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, LaDue, Hendriksen and Howell.
