Ann Canis And Mr. Tom <br />Skiba: <br /> <br />Mr. Skiba, Ms. Canis and their engineer, Mr. Hoium, were present requesting <br />Iketch plan review of their proposed lubdivision of the 60 acres lying east of <br />Roanoke Street NW and north of 153rd Avenue NW on tbe Rum River. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hendriksen stated that he wants to see a recommendation from the <br />Park Commission on this sketch plan. <br /> <br />The Commission recommended that Mr. Skiba and Ms. Canis proceed to the <br />prel~inary plat stage. <br /> <br />Case 15: Request For Sketch Plan Review; Case Of Mr. Jake Barthold: <br /> <br />Mr. Barthold was present requesting sketch plan review of his proposed <br />subdivision of 40 acres located west of State Bvy. #47 and directly east of <br />Ball's Dover Acres. <br /> <br />The Commission recommended that Mr. Barthold rework the sketch plan to show a <br />through street being provided. <br /> <br />Case 16: Review Revised Preliminary Plat Of Flintwood Bills Second <br />Addition; Case Of Mr. Art Raudio: <br /> <br />Mr. Raudio was present proposing a revision to the original prel~inary plat of <br />the P.U.D. by deleting one lot from Block 4. Mr. Raudio also stated that <br />consideration is being given to developing Outlot I with high density rather <br />than the original proposed quad homes. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend <br />Council approval of the revised Flintwood Hills Second Addition P.U.D. which <br />decreases to 13 the number of lots to be developed on Block 4. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Shumway, Deemer, <br />Zimmerman, LaDue, Bowell and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case 112: Discussion Of Construction Occurrioi On Tbe Corner Of Cty. Rd. <br />157 And Hwy. 110: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer referred to his past concerns expressed regarding the <br />construction of an accessory building on the Plants 'n' Things property. <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that Mr. Wirz measurements show the building to be <br />64' from the right-of-way line; Commissioner Deemer disagrees with those <br />measurements. Commissioner Deemer pointed out that the building was <br />constructed without a site plan which is necessary in a business area, but <br />nobody in City government has the fortitude to put a stop order on the <br />building. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that she did discuss the issue with the City Attorney and his <br />April 1, 1986 <br /> <br />Page 6 of 8 <br />
