<br />CASE #9: <br /> <br />REYJUEST FOR METES AND BClJNDS SUBDIVISION; CASE OF MR. HARLEY GOROON <br />By: Conununity Developnent Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon is requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of his 40 acre <br />parcel located west of County Road #83 and south of County Road #22. Mr. <br />Gordon's house is currently located on a one acre parcel along County Road <br />83. Mr. Gordon is proposing to split the parcel into four 10 acre parcels. <br />Mr. Gordon is proposing the cornbinationof his one acre lot with the nine <br />acres surrounding him to create a ten acre lot in the northeast <br />corner. <br /> <br />Three of the parcels are proposed to access directly off of County Roads <br />#22 and #83 . Access to the southwest 10 acres is proposed to be from the <br />existing cul-de-sac on l80th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />For your information, the follCMing items are enclosed: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Existing proI;erty <br />c) Proposed subdivision <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon would require a variance to the street frontage requirements to <br />allCM access to the southwest p3.rcel fran l80th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />In the past, the City's policy has been to restrict individual driveway <br />access on to County roads. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Will be based on your discussion. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Developnent Director .JL <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br />,b~ <br />
