Mr. Hartley will prepare a report <br />for Council on the density and urban service area issue. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution 188-11 receiving the feasibility report and calling for a <br />public bearing for sewer and water Improvement Project 187-27 from 149tb <br />Avenue N.W. to Outlot B, Rum Acres Estates. (Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolution 188-11). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Counc i lmembers DeLuca and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Sorteberg and Cox. <br /> <br />Mr. Albin Peterson stated that 3 years ago he had an agreement with Council <br />that tbe lots in his development area would front on Waco Street. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that areas of concern would be addressed at the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Case #3: Request For Final Plat Apuroval Of Ford Brook Estates Third <br />Addition: Case Of Mr. Gerald Bauer: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann suggested tbat tbe driveway for Lot 2, Block 2 of Ford Brook <br />Estates Third Addition be constructed as far soutb on the lot as possible. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />adopt Resolution 188-12 approving Mr. G~ald Bauer's request for final plat <br />, <br />approval of Ford Brook Estates Third Addition contingent upon compliance <br />with tbe City Engineer's report dated January 26, 1988 and review and <br />approval of the plat by Burns Township. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution 188-12). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca and <br />Absent: Councilmembers Sorteberg and Cox. <br /> <br />Case ~5: Adout Interim Emer~encv Ordinance Re~ulatin~ Use Of <br />Snowmobiles: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated tbat the Park Commission is reviewing an in-depth <br />ordinance establisbing regulations for snowmobile use. In tbe interim, it <br />is recommended that tbe City adopt the emergency snowmobile ordinance tbat <br />bas been drafted to bring some immediate relief to the snowmobile <br />complaints. Tbe emergency ordinance prohibits snowmobiles activity on <br />other than tbe travelled portion of the highway or street; it eliminates <br />snowmobile activity on the road right-of-way or ditch area. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to research bow mucb restriction tbe city can place on <br />snowmobile activity along State highways and if any, incorporate that into <br />the more detailed snowmobile ordinance being drafted. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />City Council/January 26, 1988 <br />Page 7 of 13 <br /> <br />l~i <br />
