TIM DOYLE
By: Camnunity Developnent Director Anne Norris

Background:

As you may recall, ~..r. Tim Doyle appeared before the Board of l\djustment on
February 11 requesting a variance to construct a sign larger than perrnittec1
by City Code and in addition to the existing signage on the pro~~rty at
6106 Hwy. :filO N. W. Based on the fact that the sign (the large f.1obil sign)
had previously been on the property, the Board approved this variance. As
a condition of this variance, the Board also required Mr. Doyle to remove
the single free-standing sign located on the east side of the property.

At the time Mr. Doyle was preparing to have the easterly sign removed, the
contractor noted that the sign was the main source for outdoor electricity
on the pro:p=rty. Based on this information, Mr. Doyle is requesting Board
reconsideration of the requirement to remove this sign.

For your information, attached are the follo.ving items:

a) Site location map
b) Findings of fact
c) Variance

Reconunendation:

Board of Adjustment Action:

Will be based on your discussion.

Review Checklist:

Administrator
Attorney
Engineer
Corranunity Developnent Director .JL

Chief of Police
Finance Officer
Public Works Superintendent
Other

.:2~
