<br />CASE #3: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO: 1) CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE <br />WHICH WILL BE CONSTRUCTED ON A PARCEL PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION <br />OF THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE; AND 2) HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES; CASE OF MR. GLEN HAMPTON <br />By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Glen Hampton is requesting a variance in order to construct a 24' x 48' <br />barn on his 7.13 acres located adjacent to his house at 15551 Potassium <br />Street N.W. Mr. Hampton is also requesting a variance to the height <br />restriction for accessory structures. The accessory structure Mr. Hampton <br />is proposing to construct will be 22 feet high. <br /> <br />Section 170.015G of the City Code specifies that no accessory structure <br />shall be constructed on a parcel prior to the construction of the principal <br />structure on that parcel. This section of the City Code also specifies a <br />maximum height for accessory structures of 16 feet.
