No horses shall be treated cruelly or inhumanely by any <br />person or in violation of Minnesota Statutes 346.20 - <br />345.26 preventing cruelty to animals. <br /> <br />Proper care and maintenance of each horse shall be the <br />responsibility of the person, firm or corporation <br />designated as the owner, caret er or custodian of such <br />horse. ~____~~ 1\!f7~ u~~ ~ <br /> <br />No person shall keep any hor~ in a manner creatin~.Ajf a. __ '~/? <br />pl1blic ~~..-.t.~~ nuisance./ ~ '5'''vvree/v~ '?'~.M.A.... <br /> <br />110.075 CONTROL. TRESPASS AND PUBLIC ROADVAYS <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />1 . No person, firm or corporation shall permiany horse of <br />which he is the owner, caretaker or custo ian to run at <br />large within the city. Such animal will be deemed to <br />run at large when it is off the premise owned or rented <br />by its owner and unaccompanied by the wner, or an agent <br />or employee of the owner. <br /> <br />2. TIle chief of, police or any designa d agent of the city <br />may impound any horse found at 1a ge and shall provide <br />proper sustenance for such impou ded horse. The chief <br />of police or his designated ag t shall, within 24 hours <br />after any such horse has been impounded, post written <br />notice at the city hall desc ibing ,such horse and <br />stating that it has been i ounded. If the owner of the <br />impounded horse is known the person impounding, <br />personal service of noti e of such impounding shall be <br />served within 24 hours fter impounding upon such owner <br />in the '.maimer prescrib d by State law for the service of <br />process. <br /> <br />3. No legally impound d horse shall be released except to <br />the person displ ing a receipt from the city clerk <br />showing payment in full for the costs of impounding and <br />care of the ho see If any person, without authority of <br />law, and wit ut first paying the costs due, shall take <br />any impound horse out of the enclosure in which it is <br />impounded, e shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. <br /> <br />4. Costs i urred by the city in impounding horses running <br />at 1ar e shall be paid by the owner of the horse prior <br />to re easing said horse.
