Investigate all cases of animal bites reported to him <br />and supervise the quarantine of any such animal to <br />assure that it is kept under observation for a period of <br />14 days. <br /> <br />4. Report to the Chief of Police weekly on the activities <br />of the Animal Control Officer within the City. <br /> <br />IfO..6'3Y Impoundment. All dogs picked up by the Animal <br />Control Officer or any of his duly authorized assistants. <br />shall be immediately transported to the designated pound. If <br />the owner is known, he shall be immediately notified by <br />telephone or personal contact and by written notice to his <br />last known address. If the owner is unknown, written notice <br />containing a description of the animal shall be posted at the <br />pound and the City Hall.
