April 12, 1988 <br /> <br />TO: Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> <br />FROM: Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />RE: Addition to Agenda <br /> <br />Please consider the addition of the following case to the agenda <br />for the April 12, 1988 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />CASE #20: <br /> <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION FINDING PROPOSED MODIFICATION <br /> TO TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DOCUMENTS TO BE <br /> OONSISTENT WITH CITY' $ LAND USE PLANS <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you may recall, the City has received a request for City <br />participation (tax increment financing) in an apartment project <br />proposed for Lot 2, Block 1, Oxbow Addition. In addition to <br />this, the City Council would like to use tax increment proceeds <br />to fund the construction of the extension of County Road 116 up <br />to the Rum River. In order to be able to fund these projects <br />with tax increment finds, the City needs to modify its tax <br />increment financing documents. <br /> <br />For your information, attached is a proposed resolution finding <br />that the proposed apartment and County Road 116 projects to be <br />included in the modified tax increment financing documents are <br />consistent with the City's land use plans. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #88-__ finding the projects to be included <br />in the modified tax increment financing documents to be <br />consistent with the City'a land use plans. <br /> <br />Attach: <br /> <br /> <br />
