TOM GUYER <br />By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Guyer is requesting approval of a wild animal license to keep two <br />black bears on his property at 15408 Sunfish Lake Blvd. In addition) Mr. <br />Guyer is seeking a variance to keep these bears on- property approximately <br />2.33 acres in size. Section 110.183) Subdivision 2, Section E(2)(b)) of <br />the City Code requires a minimum of 2.5 acres for keeping wild animals. <br /> <br />For your information) enclosed are the following items: <br /> <br />a. Application <br />b. Site location map <br />c. Public hearing notice <br />d. Properties notified <br />e. Letter dated January 11, 1988 to Tom Guyer from City staff <br />f. Proposed wild animal license <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />As you recall, the City Council adopted standards regulating the keeping of <br />wild animals.
