A Chapter 170.06 is hereby added to the City Code, which Chapter shall be as follows: 170.06 Park a.d Open Space Dedication Pee 170.061 PUUOSE .) The purposes of this section are to provide funds which the City shall dedicate and use only for the acquisition of parks, playgrounds, and/or open space, as well as provide a means for the City to acquire a reasonable portion of each new subdivision for public use as parks, playgrounds and/or open space. 170.062 USZDEIrrUL .UZLDZ.C PEltlUT PAn FEE At the time of issuance of a bUilding permit for a residential dwelling unit, either single family, multi-family or apartment building, the Building Official shall collect a park fee equal to two and one-half tenths of one per cent (.0025) of the building valuation.
