<br />CASE # I <br /> <br />REVIEW PARK AND TRAIL SYSTEM <br />By: Mark Riverblood, Parks Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The purpose of this case is to review Ramsey's Park and Trail system. Staffwill <br />summarize at the meeting the background of the park system, the transition to using trails <br />for making recreational connections (as well as transportational); and the general <br />philosophies for sizing, as well as the sighting of park land. <br /> <br />This is intended to be an informal discussion, and a chance for Commissioners to share <br />views on what has worked previously with park system planning - and how recreation <br />trends in Ramsey may be changing future needs.
