He provided
with quite a bit of information which would like to share with you.

PROCESS

A petition with 35% of those involved needs to be submitted to
the city. We can either tar 156th or we can tar 156th and Hematite.

;
,
, :

There are 2 public hearings and a feasibility study. The first
hearing gives the projected costs, and the 'city requests bids from
contractors. The second hearing will give us the actual cost of the
project~

,i
I
I
I
i
i
i
,
,

There is no set way of taxation. The tax could be computed by
'2~ acre parcels or by frontage feet. Taxes are assessed over a 10
year period. Taxes may be paid in\full at any point. Taxes may be
paid up to 30 days after completio~ with no interest assessed. Taxes
will be approximately $2000-2500 a parcel. This works out to $30.00
monthly or $360.00 yearly. (THIS MAY BE LOWER)

For those of you wondering about the use of salt for,
,~ ~ontrolling dust the city engineer stated it was environmentally
safe. It will wash ~way in the rain, although it is good about one
month without EXCESSIVE rain. Salt runs 16C/lb. One pound will cover
~"square yard this works out to 75C per linea'l foot based on a 28'
'wide road. The city engineer did not know if the city would be avail
to apply the salt.

-ATl' o.t -t'b.e-above action can be stopped at any point by 50%
p&~~ 2t,inst the actionr_. ~~~
.. r:'''2(J- ~t:IJ.';;. ~8r9<:J /56D{ ~ /7~J
it) (J/'vV/' tv,)::S- ; 5-~P& ~ .7<1 I.J I /Ie. / , S S3a.3

CV::;; A ~ ----
/ii: ~v~.

? rJ L/I / jt-7.L a't~ IJ. t~J
tf~~~~~
b 9 1;2 - / ~ G C&-.re. h. v..)
-A ~ Vc::U/~
~c<.a C "'7J
~t-;:(/ /$'b~.
