Necessary applications, license fee payments, and <br />proofs of insurance and surety bonds have been received. The fire marshal <br />has inst:ected the pranises as required and any and all violations which <br />were found have been corrected and the fire marshal has so noted by letter. <br /> <br />2) Approve renewal of on-sale/Sunday liquor licenses for Sut:er SeMI, Inc. and <br />J.R. 's Saloon and BIQ Club for 1988. Necessary applications, license fee <br />payrrents, and proofs of insurance and surety bonds have been received. The <br />fire marshal has inspected the premises as required and any and all <br />violations which were found have been corrected and the fire marshal has so <br />noted by letter. <br /> <br />3) Approve renewal of non-intoxicating liquor licenses for 1988 for the <br />following: <br /> <br />Tom Thumb Sut:erette <br />Brooks Superette (Armstrong Boulevard N.W.) <br />Brooks Superette (St. Francis Boulevard N.W.) <br />On-The-Green Restaurant <br />LeTourneau's Super Valu <br />Food -n- Fuel <br /> <br />The applications have been reviewed by the Police Department and found to <br />meet the criteria for renewal. <br /> <br />4) Approve bottle Club/set-up license for On-The-Green Restaurant for 1988 <br />(enclosed). The actual license, receipt of fee, and approval is by the <br />state Liquor Control Commissioner after submission of appl ication to the <br />Commissioner by applicant. <br /> <br />Approve gambling license request of the Anoka~hamplin Fire Department at <br />the St. Anthony Gun Club on September 11, 1988 and waive the 30 day <br />waiting period (enclosed). The Anoka-Champlin Fire Department has, for <br />about the past ten years, conducted a fall shoot and fund raiser. If the <br />City does not approve of the activity, the Council should pass a resolution <br />so noting disapproval and forward it to the State. If there is to be no <br />disapproval, the gambling permit will be approved by the State 30 days frem <br />the date the City received the t:ermit (June 9, 1988). <br /> <br />6) Adopt resolution approving first half bills for the month of June, 1988 in <br />the amount of $202,489.13 (enclosed). <br /> <br />7) Receive petition for local improvement to pave l56th Avenue N.W. and <br />Hematite Street N.W. and adopt resolution declaring adequacy of petition <br />and ordering the preparation of a feasibility report (enclosed). The <br />petition was received on June 7, 1988. There are 18 signatures <br />representing 39% in frontage of real property abutting l56th Avenue N.W. <br />and Hematite Street N.W. Therefore, the petition is sufficient. <br /> <br />8) Adopt resolutions approving plans and specifications and ordering <br />advertisement for bids for Sealcoating Improvement Projects #88-2, 3, 4, 5, <br />6, 7, and 8 (enclosed). On l>ay 24, 1988 the City Council authorized the <br />preparation of plans and specifications for 1988 sealcoating projects. <br />These pla~s and sp:cifications will be available at the meeting. <br /> <br />I <br />
