Counci1member moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #88- RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENTS FOR FRONT STREET (PROJECT 87-25) WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the sewer and water improvements for Front Street (Project #87-25), bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Bidder Amount of Bid AND WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder. of is NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKACOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with of in the name of the city of Ramsey for the sewer and water improvements for Front Street according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. 2) The Notice of Award for the project shall not be sent to the contractor until easement or waiver of trespass agreements have been signed by all affected landowners. 3) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, ex~ept that the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowes~ bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of June, 1988. ~
