<br />Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 1988 IMPROVEMENTS <br />TO RIVER'S BEND PARK (PROJECT 88-14) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1988 <br />improvements to River's Bend Park (Project 88-14), bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that <br />the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />of in the name of the City of Ramsey for the 1988 <br />improvements to River's Bend Park according to the plans and <br />specifications therefore approved by the Ramsey City Council and on <br />file in the office of the City Administrator/clerk. <br /> <br />2) The city Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of June, 1988. <br /> <br />?~ <br />
