On November 3, 2006 we attended our first Ramsey Planning Commission Meeting because there was a
proposal for a land use change south of our neighborhood. We did not know what to expect. As it turned
out, we were very impressed with how professionally everything was handled when it came to voicing your
opinions, environmental concerns, impact on surrounding neighborhoods and your constructive criticism
with the developer. We came away from that meeting feeling that we have a very intelligent and caring
commission that wants the best for the City of Ramsey.
In the end we absolutely do not see any positive benefits for our neighborhood in granting the land use
change from low density to medium density. The one and only benefit will be a financial gain for the
developer after squandering a prime piece of property for profit. Please remember once this development
is built it will be there for the next 100 or more years and will affect all of us until the day we move from
this, neighborhood.
(laa C.- Pi
6 3jk-) 116
Respectively Submitted,
William C.
